Dexter Marathon, addicted again.

I'm not much of a T.V. watcher, and I don't have Showtime, but I've been watching Dexter with my brother nonstop the past two weeks. Finished Season 5 after a long long longgggggg break from Dexter and now we're almost done with Season 6 after about 3 days. YIKES. The show is definitely great though, and very interesting.

 *PARTIAL SPOILER FOR SEASON 6: I love how Season 6 really seems to relate back to Season 1, with "artistic" kills and also bringing Dexter's brother Brian back. I just really hope they knock LaGuerta out sometime soon...she's almost equal to Skylar White at this point (I love Breaking Bad too, he he).  Still getting a little freaked out by Deb possibly having a crush on Dexter. I really hope she doesn't do anything stupid. 

Gamewise, I'm rendering a video as we speak. Link me to your personal funniest/craziest Halo kills, or just awesome Halo kill videos you have seen. I'm hoping to make this video at the beginning of next week, so send me them ASAP! You can comment here or on the video! Thanks all! 

We hit 86!

Holy shit it's about time. It's my first time logging on in about a week and a half, but we finally bumped up a level. Wasn't too slow at all, considering I have barely sat down to play Mists. Did the first MoP dungeon and it was surprisingly awesome! It took you through what seemed to be a brewery, almost as if you were on a brew tour. Very fun :) Boss mechanics were extremely simple. Jump to remove stacks, kill adds, easy enough. Nothing we haven't seen before! Was also fairly short too. I think it took about 25-30 minutes-ish, but I'm not completely certain, but I know it wasn't long (trust me I'm impatient).....that's what she said. Sorry, I had to /wink

As you can see the landscapes are so vibrant in this expansion. I really what they are doing here with the detail!

I even found my new favorite spot in Jade Forest...So pretty! :D

This Weekend Will Be Dedicated to DA GAMESSSS!

I'm so burnt out studying for mid terms...I probably shouldn't even be writing on here, but I am anyways since I can't game right now. I haven't been able to really sit down and get intimate with my newly acquired Mists of Pandaria expansion ;) I have 4 85's to work on...this will be fun! Looks like I know what I'm doing all Winter Break! Haha, just kidding...or maybe I'm not? :O!

Anyways, hopefully will be making a video either this Thursday or Friday depending on my schedule and what not. I'm also looking into getting a mic for my camera orrrr a new camera in general so we will see how that goes.

A Taste of Halo 4's OST...You excited yet?

2 Blog posts in one day?! Holy shit, that's a first. I'm so impressed by this track I just have to share it with you all. This brings up so many memories from Halo 3, I can't help but get a little teary. Beautiful piece.

 Time goes by so fast, I can't believe how far this
game series has come. Enjoy this. It's truly an amazing piece of music, and makes me that much more excited for the game release.

I have a feeling this is going to be the best Halo yet, and I hope it takes the thunder away from CoD for a long long time. /flex /smirk

Midterms...

So, blogging and videos might be a bit iffy this week, because this semester is really whooping my ass. My procrastination with school work is my worst enemy this semester. It's pretty bad. I want to make a new WoW video, but am trying to think of what I should do. I don't want to do class guides until a little later and more people have hit 90. I think coverage on the new BG is definitely necessary, but it will be a while before I hit 90, and I'd like to do that first :)

What do you guys want to see? Possibly something Halloween related? Possibly a Halo video? Speaking of Halo...check out one of the sickest kills I've ever seen!

Some of my favorite video game soundtracks...

One of my favorite things about gaming is the music component. A game with a great soundtrack makes it so much more enjoyable, and makes the game a much more powerful experience for the gamer as well. A perfect example of this would be Jeremy Soule's scores in Skyrim. Kinda seems like a cliche answer, but really, the music makes the game that much better.

That being said, there are so many great soundtracks out there. Ocarina of Time is amazing, because the music actually has the power to bring me back to my childhood. I feel like a kid again every time I hear one of the songs from the game.  

Another game with a great soundtrack, although not being noted as a "classic" is Baiten Kaitos for Gamecube. I absolutely love this game and am obsessed with the soundtrack. There's such a great mix of different stuff, and all of the music fits perfectly with the gameplay. Man, if you haven't played this game I highly recommend it. 

Halo soundtracks are always amazing as well :) I should actually go download some songs....

Here we go!

Really sorry I haven't been consistent with posts. It's been crazy getting back from Germany, joining a leadership society, working, writing new songs, having a social life, and gaming at the same time. I will be trying to set 2 days a week to blog, and put up videos. I am really curious as to what days would be most appealing for you guys. I'm thinking I'll kick off with Sunday and Tuesday videos/blogs.  Can't believe we hit 800 subscribers. I honestly am so thankful. You guys get me closer and closer to my dream each and everyday.

The next few blogs will focus on nearing the Halo 4 Release (features of the game) as well as the progression of my Priest nearing 90! I will hopefully dedicate a blog per level (assuming I am leveling in good time) so hope you guys will enjoy it.

I'm also looking for suggestions for more WoW guide videos, as well as music tutorials.

Is it time to join the Mists?

Oh man. Once Guild Wars 2 came out, I was telling myself that I would be cancelling my WoW account for a while, and that's something I have never done before. Now, I find myself kind of fizzling out of Guild Wars 2, and leaning towards Mists. I don't know what it is, but I guess when you've played a game for close to ten years, there's some sort of weird attachment, almost like you're in a relationship with it. Plus, I miss pew pewing heals on my priest and druid. Uh-oh. I think I know my answer. I'm secretly hoping my brother got me the expansion for my birthday, which is tomorrow, wooohooo! He normally gets me 1 year subscriptions for x-box live every birthday, but I have a hunch that he knows my love relationship with WoW. Hmm...We shall see.

Would love to hear what you guys think about Mists currently. I'm really debating playing again.
